Dr. Stephen Roeckeman specializes in the comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of adults and older adults with various medical, neurological and psychiatric conditions. His areas of focus include memory disorders and dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and movement disorders. Other common issues for which Dr. Roeckeman provides evaluations include PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. Roeckeman is licensed as a Psychologist in Texas. He completed his doctoral training at Wheaton College, clinical internship at the Illiana VA Healthcare System, and 2 years of postdoctoral fellowship training in adult neuropsychology at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
Dr. Roeckeman enjoys educating his patients on their capabilities regarding lifestyle and work. His neuropsychological reports can confirm or clarify diagnoses, document changes in functioning, and guide treatment planning.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Roeckeman currently works as a Clinical Scientist within the Central Nervous System division at Syneos Health, a global biopharmaceutical solutions organization.
