William A. Schraegle, Ph.D.

Dr. William “Andy” Schraegle is a licensed psychologist who provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. His approach is compassionate and collaborative with a primary emphasis on better understanding one’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses to provide individually tailored treatment recommendations.

Dr. Schraegle specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults who have, or suspected of having, a variety of concerns such as: learning problems (Dyslexia, Dyscalulia, Dysgraphia, Twice Exceptional Leaners); neurodevelopment (ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability); brain injury (TBI, concussion, stroke); emotional challenges (anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar); and other medical disorders (epilepsy, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, genetic disorders). His findings have been used to determine proper academic or vocational accommodations and connect to additional therapies.

Dr. Schraegle earned his doctoral degree from The University of Texas at Austin and completed a formal two-year neuropsychology fellowship at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. He was previously an assistant professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Dell Medical School. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles on topics related to epilepsy, ADHD, depression/anxiety, and TBI. His research has been supported by the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and National Institutes of Health. Out of the office, Dr. Schraegle is a “girl dad” to two energetic girls and husband to a talented and compassionate nurse-practitioner.
