Cristina Casstevens, Ph.D.

Dr. Cristina Casstevens is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist serving individuals over the age of 18, with a particular interest in working with older adults. She provides neuropsychological assessments for a variety of issues such as adult ADHD, anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, dementia, epilepsy, post stroke, post chemo, and long COVID-19.  

Dr Casstevens specializes in the assessment of cognitive dysfunction due to dementia and memory disorders, neurological insult or disease, and medical problems that impact cognitive functioning. She also provides decision-making capacity evaluations, which help determine a patient’s capacity to make decisions about their healthcare or finances as well as their ability to continue to live independently.

Dr. Casstevens is a licensed psychologist in the states of Texas and California. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati, where she completed specialized training in neuropsychology. She then went on to complete her pre-doctoral internship at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Casstevens consults with pharmaceutical companies that are developing new medications for the treatment of neurologic and psychiatric disorders. She has worked in the areas of dementia, sleep disorders, epilepsy, and long COVID-19.
